GET REAL AND GET HAPPY!

What an “eye-opener!”  This delicious topic began from a simple thought about compassion, that was given to me while I slept.  As I’ve grown to become inspirited, I awakened and immediately recorded the word “compassion” and began my journey.  Compassion is a Primary Law and a prime virtue when a person is moved by the suffering or distress of another, and by the desire to relieve it.

Compassion is empathy (identification with and understanding of another’s situation, feelings, and motives) not sympathy . Compassion is the highest vibration of the Law of Tolerance. "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy" is the Law of Compassion.  First, we must have compassion toward ourselves, for we too are suffering and in distress.  We find our relief when we find our True Self and when we find our True Self we are compelled to have compassion.  We then begin truly finding our way home.  Happiness is the WAY.

Perhaps others are seeking their way home also.  Herein will I share this recording about happiness with THE EUREKA SOCIETY and hopefully, we with others.  These quotations contain broader and deeper meaning, but are no less, simple.  Simplicity is the essence of understanding.  All you have to do is be receptive and allow these words to engraft themselves into your NOW.  Please remember, words do not teach; words stimulate thought and thought is the beginning of co-creation, as we are connected to THE CREATOR and THE CREATOR ANSWERS!

Let us go forth in thought

- Happiness begins when we see that we are the source of our own unhappiness.

Be Blessed and Become a Blessing

Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence. - Aristotle - (384-322 BC)

I was trying to explain to someone recently the difference between the intoxication of infatuation, and the happiness of a long-time love. It’s hard to explain, really. Infatuation has energy and excitement. It’s a high. It’s like the first drop on the roller coaster—exhilarating and terrifying all at once. Long-term love is sweet and slow and solid and secure. It’s knowing that someone knows you—knows all about you, knows what you like, knows how you think. Infatuation takes your breath away; love takes your fears away. - Liz Lawley

Are you happy in your work? If not, you are committing one of the worst “offences” against yourself. - Book: “The Joy Of Stress” by Peter G. Hanson

The art of being happy lies in the power of extracting happiness from common things. - Henry Ward Beecher

You can always find reasons to work. There will always be one more thing to do. But when people don’t take time out, they stop being productive. They stop being happy, and that affects the morale of everyone around them. - Carisa Bianchi

Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself. - Og Mandino

Be happy. Talk happiness. Happiness calls out responsive gladness in others. There is enough sadness in the world without yours… never doubt the excellence and permanence of what is yet to be. Join the great company of those who make the barren places of life fruitful with kindness. Your success and happiness lie in you… the great enduring realities are love and service… resolve to keep happy and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties. - Helen Keller

Joy does not simply happen to us. We have to choose joy and keep choosing it every day. Joy is the experience of knowing that you are unconditionally loved and that nothing—sickness, failure, emotional distress, oppression, war, or even death—can take that love away. - Henri Nouwen

Happiness depends upon ourselves. - Aristotle

Happiness is a butterfly, which, when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you. - Nathaniel Hawthorne

Stop and make sure that everything you are doing right now is really what makes you happy. You can’t just live for some goal in the future and have that be everything, have that be it. Because that is what some people do. They get on this road and there are all these signs saying “This way, this way” but what if you get there, you get exactly what you wanted, but all the things that were wrong are still wrong. Then what?

The art of living does not consist in preserving and clinging to a particular mood of happiness, but in allowing happiness to change its form without being disappointed by the change, for happiness, like a child, must be allowed to grow up. - Charles L. Morgan
